Course Overview
This regulated and nationally recognised qualification enables learners to gain the skills and knowledge needed to administer safe, prompt, effective first aid in situations which can arise when providing care.
Who Is It For?
The Level 2 Award in First Aid Essentials (RQF) qualification has been designed for those who have a specific responsibility at work, or in voluntary and community activities, to provide basic first aid to people they are caring for.
What Is Covered?
During this 1 day course, learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, choking, external bleeding, shock and minor injuries.
